I am so glad you found me!  I am a 33 year old single mom of an awesome 8 year old son.  We are the best of friends helping each other through the worst of times. When you are finished reading why I request your help, I will list some qualities about myself and son in addition to just how your much needed contribution will be applied.

Typical story, but so true to many women.  Four years ago, my husband left my son and I to be with his mistress....alcohol.  One mistress I was glad to see him go to rather than bring "her/it" into the marriage. 

The physical, verbal, and mental abuse was too much to allow into my son's life...and I thank God everyday that it is somewhat gone.   My ex to this day still harasses me, however, being legally divorced from him alleviates some of the stress.  The stress he DID leave behind is all financial.  He walked with is car payment only and left me with the house and all the other bills.  I've since lost the house to foreclosure and probably won't ever be able to buy a house again in this lifetime, however, I would love to be able to wipe out the debt - and my horrible credit - from this failed marriage.

My son and I deserve so much more.  We live in a rented home. It is nice, however, it's a cape code where I have the downstairs only. It's a 4 bedroom house, but the two bedrooms upstairs are rented out - therefore my son and I have no privacy.

The basement is constantly wet, growing black mold - which my son and I are allergic to - therefore, causing us constant respiratory and sinus problems.  Landlord trys to fix, but since it is a wet basement, the mold comes back.  This house is also prone to vandalism.  My car has been vandalized 3 times to the extent where the entire car had to be repainted 3 times. In the past 6 months it has been vandalized again.  The insurance company won't pay this time.  Therefore, I won't be able to get much on a trade in value for my car if I ever want to trade it in...my car has 93,000 miles on it and I owe $9,000 on the loan!  My trade in value is only $2,000!

This is where my son and I so desperately need your help:

I am $30,000 in debt.

Because of my divorce and the bills from it, I do not have the credit to get
approved for a loan - whether to consolidate my bills into one payment, purchase a better car, or even get out of my home which is making us sick.  I don't have the down money for a home, nor do I have a first month's rent or security deposit to move into a rental.

For 7 years I suffered a horrible, abusive marriage.  I stayed in the marriage and worked as hard as I could to repair an alcoholic...only to fail.  For the past 4 years I have suffered financially while watching my ex-husband get married, get a house with his wife's credit, have a new baby, and enjoy life.   Why in the world did I deserve the hardship I had then...and still deserve it now?

I'm asking for someone out there to help me pull my financial weeds out of the ground and replant beautiful rose bushes!

About me and my son:

First and foremost, I am a loyal Christian. Secondly, I work full-time as a secretary.  I'd love to be able to someday create a virtual assistant business where I can help small companies administratively run their business without the cost of hiring a full-time assistant who would need benefits.  I love camping, fishing, sports, art, and reading.  I have a heart of gold and always put others before myself.  I go out of my way for everyone - and most of the time I'm taken advantage of, but even so, I enjoy giving without expecting a return favor.  I love my son to death, we are the best of friends and attached at the hip!  I have taught him the values of love, respect, loyalty, and friendship.  It has been such a blessing to watch him grow into a fine young man. 

My son, well, he loves Pokemon, Yugi-Oh, swimming, bike riding, and is the biggest bookworm I know!  He's compassionate, loving, caring, honest, and is just like me...puts others before himself...even at 8 years old!  Actually, if we could all live in the hearts of children, the world would be more at peace.

If my son and I are blessed with your contribution, it will into four  categories: 1. paying off my debt, 2. saving for a new home (rental or purchase), 3. savings for my son's future education, and 4. savings to start up a virtual assistant business.
