Dear Angel: $50,000 in debt and NEED HELP please!
 | I can't believe I'm actually sitting here about to
write about my troubles. I contemplated this for a
long time. This sounds like an easy way out, but in
all actuality, this is the hardest thing I've ever had
to do. As I sit here teary eyed, to tell you a little
about my life. |
| My husband and I are so stressed about our debt we
are constantly fighting about it. The girls sense
something wrong and that breaks my heart. |
| We are both losing sleep over this too. My husband
doesn't know I'm doing this, Im hoping to surprise
him. |
| Im a 33 yr. old housewife and a mother of 2 girls.
I've been married for 12 years. My husband works 40
hrs a week at a decent paying job, always asking for
overtime, but usually cant get anything. |
| My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor (Acromegally)
10 yrs ago and deals with headaches and pain and still
goes to work to provide for us. Then recently he was
diagnosed with Plantar Fascitis (Foot Pain) and his
job requires him to stand on his feel all day. He was
told he will soon be medically retired. I don't know
what were going to do. |
| I don't have a career because I have always been a
stay at home mom. My girls are 12 and 10 and not quite
old enough to be latchkey kids. Not the way the world
is nowadays. |
| We live on the West Coast where the cost of living
is very high. We are wanting to move to Nebraska. We
want to sell our house. I hear my husband on the phone
calling loan offices and I hear him saying that we
would need to reduce our debt before he can get
another loan, 2nd mortgage I think. He tells me these
things but I don't understand all the legalities and
technical stuff of it. But from the sound of things,
its not looking too god. We are $50,000 in debt and
can't seem to pull ourselves out. If anyone out there
reading this can just spare $1 to help get us out of
debt, perhaps we can move to where the cost of living
is easier and the schools are better. It would make a
world of difference to us. and greatly appreciated.
