Middle aged single women, returned to college and
indebt, trying to recover.

I'm 46 years old. I take care of my parents that only
have a social security income. They live with me. My
brother is going back to college for his masters
degree and is living with us now too. I work for the
state as a designer and make about $55,000 a year. I
don't own a home and am in debt from going back to
college at age 40 years to get a BA degree. My college
debt is $35,000 with loans and credit card debt for
the four years of college. I worked at HomeDepot part
time in college and carried a full load. Even though I
worked, I still accumulated debt while in college. I
have the debt consolidated but it will still take me
years to pay it off.

I've never been married
because I work a great deal and then take care of my
parents in my free time. I'm capped at work as far as
what I can make. I'm trying to sell on ebay to make
extra money to pay my debt off. The housing in our
town doubled in the last six months and so has our
rent. I'm feeling lost and alone. I have no relatives
to lean on and have no real network system to go to
for help. This opportunity to reach out for help in
clearing my debt and saving up for a down payment on a
house felt like a way to connect to people that might
care and have had better fortune then myself.

I would like to find
someone to spend my life with and be able to offer
them a life with me that is financially more normal
for my age group. I have nothing to my name and it
makes me very sad. I work hard but I don't make very
much money. I'm a good person. I would let everyone
know in my on-going website how much their donations
have decreased my debt and increased my happiness.
