I'm just your everyday struggling college student
 | ... so here I am, trying to appeal to the sympathy
of others to help. I've gone to numerous banks to try
and acquire loans, but due to my bad credit (which is
a product of trying to get through school), they won't
secure a loan for me. |
| I'm not doing horrible - things could always be
worse - but I'm stuck in a rut because I can't go back
to school, I can't move, but at the same time, I know
I MUST not quit. I spend every day reading, trying to
keep myself up with what I could be learning in class,
but I know it's not the same. |
| I know I can't go to my parents for help ... they
can't, not for not wanting to, but being able to. I
have a four year old sister my mother and stepfather
have to worry about and take care of, while my father,
though retired, has to keep working in order to
support himself. |
| I'm not trying to make a sob story of it, I'm just
trying to express my genuine need of help. I vowed to
myself never to be indebted to anyone because doing
this all on my own is so important to me. I realize
now that that dream is not impossible, but having some
help is not the bad thing I first thought it was. |
| Helping someone is one of the most rewarding things
I've ever done - no matter how small or large the
gift, ever bit counts. I hope that you will continue
that sentiment, knowing if we all just help each other
out a little bit more how much happier we all will be. |
