SINGLE MOM NEEDS HELP RECOVERING FROM 11 MONTHS
OF UNEMPLOYMENT

Hi,
My name is Jan and my 7 year old son's name is Zack. I
cannot describe
the nightmare my son and I have suffered this past
year, I lost a job I worked for over 8 years when the
elderly man I was careing for passed away 11 months
ago. Not only did I loose a good friend but but my
whole life caved in financially. We have been reduced
to free school lunches and food bankes. First I went
through all of my savings, then still unable to find
work I had to start selling our furniture just to keep
a roof over our heads. |

Then the TV and the
fridg had to be sold. In spite of all that we are now
living in an empty house that we still may loose. my
son and I are sleeping on the floor. We have surived a
cold and snowey winter with no utilities. I have just
this week found a new job careing for an elderly lady,
The pay is ok and I can make ends meet but, I can't
catch up on the rears on my house payments or get our
gas and water turned back on. |

The job just didn't
come soon enough. This is the worst it has ever been
for us, with no family that can help as my mother is
in a nursing home after suffering a stroke at young
age. She can't even help herself. I can't tell her
what we are going through it would be to much for her.
We have nowhere to turn but to you good people. The
amount I need seems hugh to me because I have no way
of getting it an my own. |

To some it my
seem small. Any donation woud be cherished and used in
the proper manor and will not go unforgotten.
